The SPP, should takeover Bozinovski’s case

Today, representatives of the Association of Journalists of Macedonia (AJM), meet with prosecutor Katica Janeva and her associates, from the Special Prosecutor’s Office (SPP). The President of AJM, Naser Selmani, informed Janeva about the case of the journalist Zoran Bozinovski, who has been detained for almost two months. The action was taken by the order of the Public Persecution Office, who build up a case against Bozinovski for multiple crimes. Bozinovski in April, 2016, was extradited from Serbia, and by far no formal indictment has been raised against him. Selmani asked Janeva to takeover the case of journalist Bozinovski from the Public prosecutors office for organised crime, because of its involvement with the case “Spy” which is already under her jurisdiction.
Bozinovski’s legal representative already submitted a formal request to the SPP to takeover the case.
