The section of cameramen of AJM met with the President Stevo Pendarovski

Representatives of the cameramen section of the Association of Journalists of Macedonia met yesterday with the President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski. They discussed the challenges and problems that cameramen face in their work, as well as the activities taken by the Cameraman Section to overcome them.
Among the activities presented to the President Pendarovski was the Handbook for professional, safe and ethical work of cameraman, which provides guidance and advice on the daily work of cameramen. In addition, there was a recent workshop on “New recording techniques, ethics and professional behavior in the work of cameramen”, which brought together about 25 cameramen from around the country.
The cameramen said that this is the first time that almost all cameramen have gathered within an organization and emphasized the assistance they receive from AJM in order to better and more easily organize the intended goals and activities of the Section.
President Pendarovski said that cameramen are extremely important in the work of the media and therefore he supports the efforts to improve conditions for their work, field protection, within and outside the institutions.
