The Journalistic Forum supports the work of AJM

On December 5th, a regular meeting of the Journalistic Forum was held in Skopje. The Journalistic Forum is a advisory body of AJM composed of experienced journalists and media experts. On the meeting they discussed current topics related to journalists’ rights and media policy in the country.
The journalist Sasho Ordanovski as a coordinator of this body, led the meeting, and there were about twenty representatives who discussed several issues such as: the forthcoming Election Assembly of AJM, the media reforms and the Plan 18 of the Government of RM. They also talked about the subsidies which were given to the print media as well as other topics related to journalism.
The main conclusion of the meeting was that the Election Assembly should be well organized, and the new representatives of the administrative bodies of AJM should continue to work on improving the climate in which journalists and media work in the country.
The Journalistic Forum was created in 2011 in order to serve as an advisory body to the Association of Journalists of Macedonia and since then has held over 15 meetings.
