Colleague Ademi was hindered again in his work. The Ministry of the Interior should immediately investigate

The Association of Journalists of Macedonia (AJM) is reacting to today’s disruption of the work of colleague Nevrij Ademi from Tetova Sot. His equipment was taken away and forcibly removed from the premises of a secondary school in Tetova by an unknown person.
According to Ademi’s statement, today, on the premises of the “7th March” secondary school in Tetovo, while he was waiting to record a statement with the school director, an unknown person took his mobile phone and pushed the microphone down. Immediately after that, the same person, using rude language, tried to push the journalist out into the schoolyard.
“A man came out of the school principal’s office who told me that the principal was not at work and that he was very busy with duties. I promised him that I would wait for him here, and at that moment, the man grabbed my hand to drive me out; I told him not to touch me. “He continued to chase me out of the school and took my phone and microphone from my hand,” Ademi said.
The case has been reported to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and AJM will follow the investigation and insist on responsibility on the part of the person who prevented the journalist Ademi from doing his job. This is the second incident that happened this year with the journalist Nevrij Ademi. In the first event, a person chased him with an ax while filming video materials, for which the attacker was prosecuted and then convicted.
