AJM with support to the colleague from MIA Angela Rajchevska
The Association of Journalists of Macedonia (AJM) expresses its support for MIA colleague Angela Rajchevska related to today’s verbal incident in the Skopje court.
After receiving a report today, while performing her profession, the journalist Rajchevska was verbally attacked by the accused person in the “Laskartsi” court case.
When she tried to ask for a statement from his lawyer, the accused cursed her and dissuaded her from trying to take a statement.
We remind you that journalists and media workers are the window to the public and we firmly stand in defense of their dignity as well as their safety.
We strongly condemn such incidents towards our colleagues and at the same time encourage them to report them so that we can react loudly and show support and solidarity.
