AJM urgently notified the Ministry of the Interior regarding the violation of colleague Nevrij Ademi’s security
The Association of Journalists of Macedonia (AJM) is responding to today’s obstruction of Tetova Sot journalist Nevrij Ademi in Tetovo by an unknown individual while performing his duties.
According to Ademi’s statement, today on Tetovo’s main boulevard, while filming a documentary about unknown individuals selling cigarettes, he was subjected to unpleasant words, insults, and threats to his safety by an unidentified person.
The incident has been reported to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. AJM will closely monitor the investigation, pressing for accountability on the part of the person who impeded journalist Ademi’s work.
