AJM: Challenges of journalists were presented in front of the institutions in Brussels

Representatives of the Association of Journalists of Macedonia (AJM), together with two other civil society organizations from the country, had a series of meetings with members of the European Parliament, with representatives of the European Service for Common Affairs and the permanent missions of France and Germany, as well as with other working bodies. of the EU.
The topic of the meetings was the bilateral exchange of information on the state of human rights, media freedom, and freedom of expression, as well as the state of the negotiation process between the EU and Macedonia. On behalf of the Macedonian journalists, Sead Rizvanović, a member of the Supervisory Board of AJM, presented the progress and problems in the sphere of the media and the journalistic profession.
This activity is within the framework of the organization Civil Rights Defenders whose work, among other things, includes supporting organizations and monitoring the situation with human rights and the rule of law in North Macedonia.
