A working meeting was held between AJM and the Doctor’s Chamber of the Republic of North Macedonia

The Association of Journalists of Macedonia and the Doctor’s Chamber of the Republic of North Macedonia, yesterday in the premises of AJM held a working meeting at the request of the Chamber. At the meeting both sides pledged to sign a memorandum of cooperation in the future based on which will be defined specific activities to improve cooperation.
Mladen Chadikovski, President of AJM and Dragan Sekulovski, Executive Director of AJM met with Prof. Dr. Kalina Grivcheva – Stardelova, President of the Doctor’s Chamber and Dr. Ylber Besimi, Vice President of the Chamber.
The purpose of the meeting was to exchange ideas regarding the improvement of communication between journalists and doctors.
It was concluded that both journalists and doctors were equally exposed to the public, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, which intensified the need for greater cooperation between both sides.
In the future, there will be an initiative for a wider meeting between journalists and editors who report on the health sector and representatives of the Doctor’s Chamber. The meeting also highlighted the critical points from both sides i.e., prompt information and availability of the source for journalists and a true and quality announcements for doctors.
